Ask a Scientist (ages 8-10)
Total: 15 sessions (1 hour per session)
Sessions 1-3 Plant: Structure, Function and Reproduction In this class, students will be taught to identify and explain the different functions of the parts of plants. Learners will explore the different modes of reproduction in flowering nd non-flowering plants.
Sessions 4-6 Introduction to Zoology This course introduces the basic concepts of Zoology to the students. Specifically, learners will be taught about the different land and water habitats where various animals live. They will also be introduced to the different animal behaviors and classifications.
Sessions 7-9 The Human Body Learners will develop an understanding of how the major parts of the human body work together.
Sessions 10-12 Discovering Newton's Laws of Motion These sessions will cover the different laws of motion and the factors that affect the motion of an object.
Sessions 13-15 Types of Weather Learners will study in depth the different types of weather and the possible effects of each type.
