Code Camp Wizards (Ages 8-10)

Get your kids ready to code with Code Camp Wizards for learners 8 to 10 years old. This course will introduce learners to programming tools and Internet resources for programming, culminating with a programming workshop for kids.  

Each session will last between forty minutes to one hour and will be held once to twice a week. Vibal teachers will conduct virtual teaching at scheduled times. Class size is ten to fifteen students. Final schedule is flexible and dependent on number and schedule of enrollees.  

COURSE STARTS NOVEMBER 2020  

This course will contain downloadable activity sheets and resource materials. Parents or guardians will be provided with the activity plan throughout the course.

Sessions: 12

Sessions 1-3: Computers and Computer Peripherals - This session will introduce learners to desktop applications and desktop peripherals, which are essential prior to actual programming 

Sessions 4-6: The World of the Internet - This session will educate learners on the right tools, websites, and resources that they can explore independently once they start coding. 

Session 7-12: Programming for Kids - These sessions will introduce foundational concepts of programming to kids, with hands-on application.
