Writing for Young Adults (Ages 14-18)
This exhaustive course will take learners into a deep dive into the various forms of formal written communication, which will be especially necessary as they transition into senior high school and college.
This course will contain downloadable activity sheets and resource materials. Parents or guardians will be provided with the activity plan throughout the course.
Each session will last between forty minutes to one hour and will be held once to twice a week. Vibal teachers will conduct virtual teaching at scheduled times. Class size is ten to fifteen students. Final schedule is flexible and dependent on number and schedule of enrollees.

Sessions 1-10: Introduction to Research Writing - Learners will be introduced to and will apply the methodology, tools, and processes involved in research writing.
Sessions 11-20: Informative, Journalistic, and Literary Writing - These sessions will distinguish between the different types and modes of textual written communication. Output by learners will be workshopped prior to course completion.
